Blessings on this beautiful Thursday morning the Lord has given to us.
Want to remind everyone to please make sure that you are signed up for the Prince and Princess Celebration. You must be signed up with child/children’s names and escorts(parents, grandparent, etc.)
You may choose to dress up or just wear whatever. It’s your special day. Kim Trulock will be glad to assist you with this task.
This Sunday, April 28,2024 is Gideon Sunday … Please be in prayer how you will give to bless the Gideon’s to further God’s Word being distributed.
IF IT BE GOD’S WILL …….
UPWARD SOCCER …. We are preparing and looking forward to a great time learning more about Jesus and honing our skills in soccer. Watch the Newsletter for updates. We will need volunteers to help, we will have a sign up sheet at the church or you can contact Dustin Weaver or Eric Petonavich. Anticipated dates for Soccer will be July 15-18.
**MOVIE NIGHTS are Available each Friday and Sunday evening at 7:00 This week’s movie is “Heaven Is Waiting” Great for Parents and Teen children that are letting go of what home has always been and moving to the next stages of life.
We are needing volunteers for Nursery during the Sunday School Hour from 9:00 -10:00 AM. If you are interested in assisting please see Leslie Osborne.
**Workday on Saturday, May 4 and May 18 @ 8:00 AM to work on the second floor of the Family Life Center.
**Food Boxes on May 7 and 21 @ 5:30

Callie Anderson plans to attend Liberty University and pursue a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Youth Ministry.
Evelyn Moxley plans to attend Liberty University and major in Teaching English as a second language and Strategic Communications with a minor in French
Alex Reedy plans to begin work and listen to God’s guidance and direction

Jake Hollingsworth has obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law,
Shannon Gamble will be obtaining a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling
Avery Hamm has obtained Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.
**April 28 … Kicking off a couples class on “Sharing Jesus” Please sign up so we can have enough books for everyone.

April 28, 2024 … This SUNDAY we recognize all Prince and Princess in our church family along with their escorts. Please make sure you are signed up to escort your child . They will begin lineup preservice.
Mother’s Day May 12, 2024
Mother’s Day is a special time at MVBC. We will begin our Baby Bottle Campaign for the Tri Area Pregnancy Center. Please remember to pick up your bottles and fill these up to support young mother’s. These will be collected on Father’s Day.

HOMECOMING AT MVBC MAY 26, 2024
We will have our annual homecoming service and dinner on the grounds. Our service will begin at 10:00 and a fellowship meal to follow. The meal will be pot luck so everyone is ask to bring their favorite dishes to share. We will have special singing during our service.
