• We are excited to announce "Journey to the King of Kings," a live nativity experience taking place on December 7 in the Family Life Center​ at Mountain View Baptist Church. We are prayerfully seeking volunteers to assist with set construction, display setup, and participation in the event itself.
• The doors will open at 5:00 PM. The journey, which depicts Joseph's travels after the census decree, is designed to take approximately 10-15 minutes to walk through. Our first retelling of the birth of Jesus, featuring song and actors, will begin at 5:30 PM, with subsequent retellings every 30 minutes until ​our last retelling at 7:00 PM.
• This year, we are thrilled to present a new look with exciting ideas and changes. Our Children's Church Program will also have a special time of engagement within the retelling. More information will be shared soon.
• The purpose of this live nativity is to bring the Christmas story to life, creating an immersive experience of Jesus' birth and sharing the true message of Christmas. Through actors, sets, and real animals, we aim to help viewers connect with the humility and significance of Christ's birth, fostering faith, wonder, and a deeper understanding of the holiday's true meaning for both church members and the wider community.
• We pray that this event will reawaken wonder in the heart before the mystery of God becoming a child, deepening spiritual engagement for believers.
• Now we ask you to please begin to pray how God will work in lives of those working and preparing from every nail or push pin to those that will use talents of production. God is on the move and let's experience all that God has for us by working together and serving for His glory and honor.
