High School graduates are ….
Callie Anderson plans to attend Liberty University and pursue a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Youth Ministry.
Evelyn Moxley plans to attend Liberty University and major in Teaching English as a second language and Strategic Communications with a minor in French
Alex Reedy plans to begin work and listen to God’s guidance and direction

College Graduates are ….
Jake Hollingsworth has obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law,
Shannon Gamble will be obtaining a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling
Avery Hamm has obtained Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Educatio

UPWARD SOCCER …. We are preparing and looking forward to a great time learning more about Jesus and honing our skills in soccer. Watch the Newsletter for updates. We will need volunteers to help, we will have a sign up sheet at the church or you can contact Dustin Weaver or Eric Petonavich. Anticipated dates for Soccer will be July 15-18. Sign up sheet is at the information station.

**MOVIE NIGHTS are Available each Friday and Sunday evening at 7:00 This week’s movie is “Heaven Is Waiting” Great for Parents and Teen children that are letting go of what home has always been and moving to the next stages of life.

We are needing volunteers for Nursery during the Sunday School Hour from 9:00 -10:00 AM. If you are interested in assisting please see Leslie Osborne.

**Workday on Saturday, May 4 and May 18 @ 8:00 AM to work on the second floor of the Family Life Center.

**Food Boxes on May 7 and 21 @ 5:30 and June 5 and 19

Mother’s Day May 12, 2024

Mother’s Day is a special time at MVBC. We will begin our Baby Bottle Campaign for the Tri Area Pregnancy Center. Please remember to pick up your bottles and fill these up to support young mother’s. These will be collected on Father’s Day.

Proverbs 31:28–29: “Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all. ‘” Proverbs 31:10-12: “Who could ever find a wife like this one―she is a woman of strength and mighty valor!

VBS Volunteers and Upcoming Meetings

We still need VBS volunteers for check in.

May 19 … There will be a brief VBS meeting with all volunteers for VBS.

HOMECOMING AT MVBC MAY 26, 2024

We will have our annual homecoming service and dinner on the grounds. Our service will begin at 10:00 and a fellowship meal to follow. The meal will be pot luck so everyone is ask to bring their favorite dishes to share. We will have special singing during our service.
